Privacy Policy

Perk Maximus is built to work entirely on your device. This page explains, plainly, what that means for your data.
The short version
- No account, no sign-up, no email required to use the app.
- No bank or card-account linking, and no card numbers — ever.
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking of any kind.
- The cards you select and how you rank rewards are stored only on your device.
- Reminders are scheduled by your phone, not sent from a server — there is no push token and no notification ever leaves or enters your device over the network.
- The only data that leaves your device is what Apple, Google, and RevenueCat need to process your subscription.
Information stored on your device
When you choose the credit cards you hold and rank which rewards matter most to you, that information is saved locally on your phone using standard iOS/Android app storage. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
Biometric app lock
If you turn on Face ID, fingerprint, or other biometric unlock in Settings, that authentication happens entirely through your device's own operating system (Apple's Face ID/Touch ID or Android's BiometricPrompt). Perk Maximus never receives, stores, or has access to your biometric data — the app only receives a yes/no signal from your device confirming you unlocked it.
Purchases and subscriptions
Perk Maximus Pro is sold as an auto-renewing annual subscription through Apple's App Store or Google Play billing. We never see or store your payment card details — Apple and Google handle that directly. Subscription status and entitlement management are handled by RevenueCat, acting as our service provider. To validate your subscription, RevenueCat receives:
- an anonymous identifier generated for your installation of the app — not your name, your email, or your Apple or Google account;
- your purchase and subscription status, including trial and renewal dates;
- your device model, operating system version, and app version;
- your IP address, which is used to determine your country and is handled thereafter under RevenueCat's own policy.
This is the only information that leaves your device. It is used solely to keep your subscription working across your devices, and never for advertising or profiling.
Deadline reminders
If you turn on reminders, Perk Maximus asks your phone's operating system to show you a notification before a credit resets or a rotating category needs activating. These are local notifications: the app hands your device a list of times and messages, and your device shows them. We do not operate a notification server, we never request or store a push token, and no reminder — or the fact that you received one — is transmitted anywhere. Turning reminders off, or revoking the notification permission in system Settings, clears the schedule.
Home Screen and Lock Screen widget
The widget shows the winning card for a few of your top categories. Because a widget runs as a separate process from the app, the app writes a small summary — category names, card names, and earn rates — into private storage shared between the app and its own widget on your device. That storage is not readable by other apps and is not transmitted anywhere; removing the app removes it.
Worth knowing: a widget placed on your Lock Screen is visible to anyone who can see your phone without unlocking it, which would include the names of the cards you hold. If that matters to you, use the Home Screen widget instead, or none at all. The biometric app lock does not cover widgets — no app's lock can.
Keeping and deleting your data
The cards and rankings stored on your device stay there until you change them in the app or uninstall it. Uninstalling removes them permanently — we hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
The subscription record held by RevenueCat is retained while your subscription is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes. To have that record deleted, email support@studioropewalk.com — because the record is anonymous, please write from the address on your Apple or Google purchase, or include your receipt, so we can identify which record is yours. Cancelling the subscription itself is done in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising, as those terms are defined under US state privacy laws.
What we don't do
- We don't run analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
- We don't show ads or use advertising identifiers.
- We don't sell, rent, or share your information with anyone — there is no server-side account for us to share data from.
- We don't request access to your location, contacts, camera, or photos.
Children's privacy
Perk Maximus is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. The app has no accounts and asks for no personal details; the only information it transmits is the anonymous subscription data described above, which is the same regardless of who is using the app.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Since the app has no accounts or notifications, we'd encourage checking back here occasionally rather than expecting a direct notice.
